Acceptance to online master's

General rejection letter in the portal. Emailed Admissions for more information and was kindly told that there were over 300 applicants for only 4 spaces this year.

Didn't have an interview so didn't think I'd get in but I guess they don't do them? Was pretty surprised by the result and am very excited and grateful

Does anyone know what the historic waitlist conversion rate is? I'm curious about my chances of getting off the waitlist.

eh at least it wasn't a first round rejection yk

Tough week.

gpa is grad. Hard to say anything…"At this time, your application is on our waiting list for a fully funded offer of admission. We do not make unfunded offers. We expect to have more information as the admissions process continues, and I will update you as soon as we are able—certainly before the April 15, 2026 decision deadline. In the meantime, it would be very helpful if you could keep me posted on your plans: (i) whether you remain interested in UCI, and if so, (ii) whether you have received other offers and/or are on other waiting lists, and how UCI would rank among your options."

Rejected via email. No interview CME.

Invite to virtual visit day, including a 15-minute interview.
