Got notice today. Very high GPA, 3 international research internships and 2 years of experience in lab. Strong LoR but no papers. Non canadian. Congratulations to those that got in!

Improvement from previous years, in that under "Decision Made" they have a "Decision Document" giving you the information. This was a reach school, and my understanding is that they have very few visa spots (I'm an American). Congratulations to those accepted!

No research. But still was expecting something positive.

So I applied for the SJD Law. I got back an email saying my profile was quite good but they only have 10 spots so cannot offer me a place. I was instead offered an LLM with a Thesis! Note that I already have an LLM from another better university.

Had the interview on 21st Feb and was told at the end of the interview. Received the confirmation mail today.

Email to check the website. An attached document contains concise words saying I was rejected. Email in mid-January informed me to pay deposit for dormitory, which ignited my hope. Not so friendly towards international student like me from the very beginning. Fortunately I recieved Wait List Letter before from another university.

Strong recommendation letters, three publications, maybe I wasn't a good fit for the department. Wide gap between my bachelor studies and this application, almost eight years. Good luck for everyone else!

I am an international student from Taiwan, and I am doing my BSW degree at York. I was admitted into the stream of social justice and diversity of the one-year MSW program at the University of Toronto. I had various front-line experiences in China and some volunteer experiences in Canada. Good luck to anyone who also applies for MSW program!

Wrote to PhD office to ask about status of application.

The online portal reads "Decision Made." Judging by the lack of email and forum posts from past years, I believe I should expect a rejection letter soon.
