Why cant I get into grad school??? whatevs, guess I'll reapply

An email to check the website. Knew it was a tough one. A very tough one. But still upset. Glad to see others like me.

Finally "denied."

Email to website. Same exact letter as last year, word for word.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

I received an email to check the website. Not as affected by these rejections anymore as yesterday I got into my first choice school. Good luck to all!

The onslaught begins

Just received funding info today! 25% merit scholarship! To go live in the most expensive city in America, and attend a school with higher average graduate debt load than any other MFA program in the country! How can I say no? Easy: by being accepted to literally any other MFA program. Done. Now I ain't saying she a gold digga, but she ain't messin' with no broke...

:'( really wanted to work with Arthur Flowers here, rest of faculty is pretty sub-par, so that's a comfort

handwritten note from LSC at the bottom to "please reapply in the future"

Well that takes the sting off the last two rejections. Now I just hope I can pay for it...

Is it ridiculous that I thought I would be waitlisted?

Another rejection but whatever. This is the same girl who suggested in her Iowa rejection that we use this as a dating forum. I was joking but if people are into it, what the hell. Any cute literary gentlemen out there are welcome to email [email protected]. No microfiction.

Not supposed to tell ... but I just got off the phone! Almost fainted. Honestly, after numerous rejections, I thought it was a prank call! I hope they don't see this and identify me and decide to reject me or something. :D Good luck, everyone!
