I got a very nice email from the school. 2 strong LOR, 1 solid LOR. 2 publications, 3 years research, 1 summer at industry. Very excited with my first acceptance.

First acceptance, I was surprised and honored!

3.5 GPA, 2 years of undergrad research and 2 summer industry internships, 1 paper and 1 poster presentation, 3 strong LORs, a few research awards. Please don't compare yourself to people on this forum - we are all vastly different and have varying access to opportunities. Your interest, commitment and motivation can speak louder than your stats imo

Applied for theoretical/computational chem

2.935 undergrad GPA, 4.000 grad GPA, 4 years industrial synthetic research experience, ~3 years academic research experience, 2 publications (one published and one accepted), 8 total presentations. First acceptance, very excited!

4.0 GPA, 4 publications + 1 submitted, 3.5 years total research experience (2 years undergraduate, 1.5 years National Cancer Institute), honors thesis, ACS Organic Awardee, several poster + oral presentations. Received an unofficial email notifying me of admission, formal letter to come in next few weeks.

Three publications, several conferences, three strong rec letters

3.98 GPA, 3 years of research experience, 3 strong LoR

3.5 years undegrad research; no pubs but some in progress; 2 presentations (one got cancelled due to COVID); mediocre state school for undergrad.

2 summer research projects, 1 two yr long research project, SURF grant recipient, poster presentation at conference, summer as lab assistant in industry, TA for 1 semester. Very happy!

No GRE scores due COVID-19, 1 first author publication, 3 years of research experience, 1 REU at prestigious institution, 1 semester at TA, 2.5 years as campus chemistry tutor, from small private institution. Contacted via phone with email follow up.

Called on the 23rd, third school accepted to this week, others are UW and Johns Hopkins! Pretty even balance of research , outreach, and 3.7 science GPA. Good luck everyone! (Specifically rooting for everybody black haha)

1st Author in one publication, 1st author in another paper under review, 3rd author in another paper under review. Also did an internship at the university in 2019.
