Received rejection email 1 week after interviews. Was told that I should consider applying again for Fall 2021 (maybe they say that to everyone).

To the waiting list poster below, did you receive official notification that you are in the waiting list? If still receive nothing from Harvard, does it mean rejected?

Received an email to check website. Wait listed after visit interview in January :/ very bummed

Has anyone heard back? If we didn’t get an interview at this point should we expect to be rejected? If we do get an interview should we expect to be accepted?

hi, i'm poster below w/ unofficial acceptance from 2/5. Saw a lot of questions in forum so I'll tell ya what I know. Prof (not in SOP) reached out to me requesting Skype interview, he told me that the professors get a list of all the students who state interest on application in their subfield (ie. biophysics or mechanics) and then can interview them. Afterwards, they click the button accepting the student if they like them. I got official notice from Harvard on 2/13.
