Received email saying there’s an update on the website. I can’t find any info (how many people, percentage accepted, etc) about their waitlist online though, if anyone knows definitely post! The wait is agonizing

So I emailed and I am 15 in the waitlist so...there's no chance at all. Damn.

I can't believe I got in! Now waiting on info about funding.

I got a very nice email telling me I am on a short list, and that the committee thinks very highly of my work. Wow, how crazy. I know it's super unlikely anyone will turn down Michener, but still it's nice to know that my work isn't just falling flat!

Hey previous poster asking about IWW, were you also actually called by CSU yesterday? What was the call like? Thanks!

I was accepted in CNF last week. I'm not sure what timeline the fiction notifications are on, though. Good luck!

Very nice form acceptance email with a touch of funding to bring the tuition down to about half of the original cost. Only problem is that they want a reply by March 22nd. 2a/2w/0r/5p

By phone, then followed up with an email. Only 5 spots in the poetry program, hope I get one!

2a/1r/2p. Just two more to go, one of which I am pretty sure is a rejection. The other is basically a lottery. Whatever. Just looking forward to this whole process being over so I can stop grinding my teeth and stuff.

Checked the website and application status is listed as “In Progress” & a note to contact the dept for more info.

An enthusiastic phone call from Joe McGee. He gave me his number and email for any questions.

Just a quick question— if I haven't heard back from other schools (i.e. the IWW and UW), should I assume that I'm on the wait list? (I'm just super on edge about this haha, and wishing all of y'all good luck!!)

Accepted off the waitlist

Got a call about a week after submitting my application, with a follow up email with more info.

An email told me to check my online portal. 3a/0w/1r/6p

Canadian. Received email from Grad Chair regretting to inform me that I was not selected, almost 300 applicants this year, and that evaluating writing is subjective. Try again next year. This was my dream program. 1a/1r/3p Congrats to all else who got in!
