Decision letter said I was rejected from the MA program even though I applied for the PhD. Oh well, it's the thought that counts?

I e-mailed the Department Coordinator to inquire about admission decision timelines and was informed that they were unable to offer me a position.

Received call from POI. Official offers to come out some time next week.

Emailed department to ask when decisions will be released and learned I was admitted. Formal notifications to be sent 'shortly'

Second rejection. Waiting on 6 other schools.

To Same-Same: who did you interview with? This was my first one. It was so short and I felt like a goofy idiot. I forgot to name drop entirely. I wasn't even nervous about Stanford til I got the interview email and now I am devouring antacids.
