very sad and cried my heart out for the rejection. pushed myself very hard in the past 2.5 years to be qualified for the program. but still did not make it. probably that's life. big congrats to ppl who make it.

Email to check status, gpa is master, letter from the department, highly match. 2w/5r/9p, definitely will reject by all others, my bachelor is not in America, no one knows it, should have thought that before. I will forever leave this country and find a job back home. Thank you all.

Not more than one minute later from not getting accepted into Duke (easily my worst fit), I got this email.

No GRE, No publications, research experience. Really amazing news in a contentious and difficult cycle. 1a/0r/2p. Best of luck y'all.

I was emailed and told to check the portal. My first rejection: also easily my worst fit (something I hadn't realized until I started to write my statements and continued anyway because sunk cost fallacy).
