Asked to attend the in-person or virtual interview

waitlisted; I’m an international student but completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies in the U.S. I majored in Criminal Justice throughout, from undergraduate to graduate school; 4 years of research experience and some work experience (not too much); received several awards and research scholarships.

Email from the PhD chair on 12/26. Virtual visit invites have been sent out and they'll make admission decisions/review waitlist in early February. 1st cycle, straight from undergrad. Not a ton of research experience other than undergrad thesis so I'm glad it wasn't a rejection! Good luck to everyone :)

LLB, LLM, 10 years of professional experience, 1 year as an undergraduate lecturer and 3 years of research experience.

Woke up to email this morning from PhD Chair. Won't find out status probably until February according to email. Non traditional domestic student, first cycle. 1.5 years research experience and won a research scholarship during that time. Rutgers is my third choice school, so holding out hope for another program where I think I was a better fit. Honestly surprised it wasn't an outright rejection. Good luck everyone else!

Got a pre-interview with a social psych faculty, was contacted directly from faculty.

In-person interview for February 7th

Interview notice 12/13, Interview 12/18

Invite to 15 min virtual pre-interview

I am assuming I have been rejected. My application is still under review and has been under review since Jan 1st 2024. It's been almost 7 months since I applied and I have not heard anything so I'm going to take this as a rejection and move on.
