TTPB: Congratulations! Have you got acceptance for research based masters or MEng?

Just got in, finally! TPPB: submitted in early January, and became "under review" two weeks later. Got asked for the official transcript in late February. "Decision made" today afternoon. Finished undergraduate in UofT with an unrelated program, international student, no research experience, with 3.8 cGPA. Hope this helps.

Official acceptance letter for research-based masters received via email. Canadian student, completed my undergrad at a different university, two years research experience in an unrelated field, 3.95/4.00 GPA.

Have you people got the request to send the paper transcript?

My application has been "under review" for over 6 weeks, so I emailed them to ask when the MEng results would be released. And they said that answers should start coming out on Friday March 26th!

Finally admitted after applying since October. I was really stressed in sending their required documents and sent many emails. I will decline, I already have a fully funded offer in a top school. Good luck to those waiting, admits are going out now. I have 1.5 years of work experience and no publication.

Any update on PhD admits from NCSU. I have seen just 2 or 3 admits till now on this forum. Did anyone receive rejection? Don't know what's taking them so long.

Email from my POI that I should be receiving an official offer from the department. Had interviews with the POI and doctoral students in late February. The graduate admissions office also informed me that I'll be admitted with a five-year funding guarantee. I will accept the offer. Best of luck to those who are waiting.

To other applicants who are on Princeton Engineering's waitlist - did you receive a zoom invite to their discussion about first-year grad school experience? The email said "congratulations on your admission to grad school" which was super confusing. Is this just their courtesy move to invite the wl people as well? Good luck to everyone out there waiting!

Applied in January with 2 research experiences, 3 internships, 3 senior design projects, and 4 letters of rec (1 emeritus prof, 1 assistant prof, 1 project scientist, 1 from industry). Received acceptance via email notification, and full offer letter two days later. Super happy!

I called the Graduate Office, and I was told that I'm not recommended. Since South Korea sub-committee decided earlier, I could notice the decision earlier than the general decision. So x100 sad since this was my dream of dream school that I drunk So-Ju (Korea traditional alcohol) one bottle at once. Hope for good dream on this night. Good luck with others especially for South Korean!

TTPB: It is possible but highly unlikely because most of the application process is handled by the department. University Graduate Office essentially just double check your admissibility, but the decision to admit you lies with your intended department. Unless there is a discrepancy in your application, this process is just a formality.

Ignore waitlist. Have you guys heard anything from UF? My portal still shows pending processing. When I called admissions their answer was that they don't even know when they'll BEGIN processing, which means they have not even started processing. I don't know whats going on. This seems so deceiving.

TPPB: That's a great sign, it means you have already moved to the next stage of selection. I haven't gotten the official transcript request yet, so I'm feeling a bit nervous. When did you complete your application?

TTPB: have checked in with the department, and they mentioned that the decision will be made 4-6 weeks after the application review starts. my application went 'Under Review' around Feb 2, so I'm expecting a decision in the upcoming days as well.

NOT wait-listed. Just wanted to ask if anyone received an updated from the admission committee for their MEng application?

TPPB: I applied for Fall 2021. Acceptance was displayed on the portal which was checked after a mail notifying update on the portal. Received the decision today early morning IST
