5 rejects out of 7 already

kind of expected...starting to feel numb to the many rejections...

Had a very positive interview earlier, was told to plan for the Visit Day, but guess it wasn't in the cards. Shucks.

Made it onto the shortlist. Apparently only a tiny cohort this year. Oh, well.

i know some Rutgers programs aren't responding until "end of March." Is anyone getting funding?

does anyone know when would the CS admits come out from here... did anyone get an admit till date?

D.E.N.I.E.D.

no funding, so expensive

no email, but the site says "You have been recommended for admission."So Am I accepted?

Graduate Assistantship will be $24,312 for the ten-month academic year, plus tuition remission and complete medical coverage for yourself and your dependents. Also support during the summer is often available for teaching summer courses or in one of our research groups with stipends of $1700-$4000.

Reply to my email.

Last year a more competetive school was interested in me but told me that they didn't feel my interests matched the interests of their professors. I found a professor at Rutgers that matched perfectly, but they didn't even give me a phone interview. ???

Accepted in early February with 4 year funding package. Looking forward to starting in the fall.

I emailed them and the lady replied pretty promptly; apparently the lady in charge of sending notifications is away at the moment. So if you haven't heard from them, email them!

'bout damn time!

Emailed to check when we could all expect notifications. was told next week.

already admitted, TAship offer of $23,112, tuition remission and medical insurance. Yay!
