I emailed them asking about it, and that was what they told me. The admissions office is super responsive. They actually just responded to an email that I sent them like 40 minutes ago... at 9:30 PM their time!

That's Great !!! I got the Scholarship email but no email for Knight Scholarship. Did you got 2 separate emails for Merit Scholarship and notification for Knight Scholarship updates ?

They sent my scholarship info via email today. They also told me via email that the Lester Knight Scholarship recipients will be notified in early March.

I certainly hope you're right! That makes sense about the 2 rounds. I've already applied to several other programs, though, so I'll be stuck waiting on some for a while no matter what 🙄. (Though, tbh, not many of them could compete with this program for my decision)

To the EE fellow below: let's bet on the date of R1 results release :) My bet is that we will receive the decisions on January 21-23, 2020. Last year's apps started around Dec 10, and received their decisions on Jan 30. Unless they want to mix up R1 and R2 candidates, they have to release the decisions before R2 deadline of Jan 24. I personally hope they surprise us with the decisions this week. I am tired of waiting and don't want to apply anywhere else.
