Email to check portal. Accepted into MA in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies (MODA) program

[ignore interview] TTPB: I have not heard a squeak from columbia, either through my portal or email. Total silence. Pretty sure this means rejection, but I would just like to hear back. I also haven't heard from CMU, USC, and UCSD (despite getting invited to their open house :| ). I assume this means rejection for all of them, but man can't they just let us hear something!

TPB: It's Prof. Henry Siu. Good Luck!

Implicitly waitlisted (or IR): Can anyone tell me who is sending out the communications (acceptance etc) on behalf of UBC grad admissions committee this year? I need to reach out to them to ask for a status update as I have a deadline from another place coming up soon. Thanks!

Rejected without interview. Not entirely surprised but still disappointing.

Got an email at 2pm yesterday to check the portal. Accepted without funding. Will be attending.

Canadian BA. Architecture Studies. 5 summers of work experience and relevant research.

TTPB: When did you apply/get the email that your app was being reviewed? I haven't heard back yet after applying pre priority deadline.

TTPB: When did you submit your application and get the 'your application is under review' email? I applied pre priority deadline and am anxiously waiting to hear back. Most likely didnt get in but wanted to confirm

We have recently sent our first round of offers. Unfortunately, you were not among them, and given your ranking in the pool, it is very unlikely that you will be offered a position. I'm sorry for giving you the bad news. Jeremy Ask to her she is kind. Good luck to all who got accepted. I think Canada is not for me.

No interview. $13k in funding

Congrats to those accepted! If you're not planning on attending, would appreciate the spot :)

TTTPB: Im so conflicted if I want to accept this offer... its expensive and it does seem like a cash cow program, but the opportunities it'll open and the connections it has is persuading, especially given its location in NYC. But, I want to be in a program that's competitive... and from the looks of it, it seems like they accepted almost everyone and anyone who applied? I would be an international student so it'll be way more expensive... UGH. I hate this stress lmfao

TTPB: The fee of 4k is the same for everyone. TTPB: TTPB: Last year, seeing gradcafe entries, admits rolled out even till June!! So its really messed up and we might have to wait for a even longer time.

Did anyone receive funding for the MS program? If yes and you're sure of you're not attending Columbia, please decline the offer!

no funding :(
