Get notified on the website which telling me that I am fit for the program. Happy to get it.

I called them weeks ago and they said results would come out late February... So does anyone got decisions? Plz plz let us know

Is anyone considering the MS in health policy program?

Seems they had a distinct GRE cut-off, and a specific idea for who they were looking for.

dean's merit scholarship 1/2 tuition.

No interview. I spoke with faculty last year. Seemed like the program was a good fit and I was encouraged to apply. Upsetting.

Such a generic rejection email. Disappointing and disappointed.

Accepted with $20,000 merit award.

Have another offer elsewhere but still sad.

Applications are mentally and emotionally draining. It's not just your time and energy, since you also have to get faculty members involved in your applications for LORs. With all that investment from the applicants and their recommenders, I wonder how much time and care admissions committees actually put into reviewing each application and in some form determining someone's future.

Email to check messages in the applications portal. "Thank you for your application to the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego. I'm pleased to inform you the admissions committee has reviewed your file and feels you will be an excellent fit for GPS. At this time your application has been nominated for admission, and in the coming days our committee nomination will be reviewed by the UC San Diego's Graduate Division. You will receive official communication from that office, via email, regarding your file. Congratulations on your nomination!"
