"Unfortunately, we cannot offer you admission. The process was competitive, only a small proportion were successful."

I know this university is too good for me... but still... wait for other results

I have declined my admission. Previously they said I'm on their "high waitlist." I hope my vacancy will create some opportunities for other applicants. rnGood luck :)

Does anyone know how long is the waitlist? And if anyone is given any admission from the waitlist?

These UC schools charge exorbitant app fees and couldn't even write a compassionate form letter

A relatively nice but standard rejection email; no need to check application portal.

2A/1R/0W/0P kind of a bummer, but I already had my heart set on another program. Congrats to those accepted!

After a series of rejections to PhD programs, this was such wonderful news. Excited to be a wildcat!

Email to check portal

Just got the email saying to check out their website portal. The rejection letter said "Every year we have many more excellent candidates than we are able to accommodate, requiring us to make difficult decisions. Sometimes even outstanding applicants cannot be admitted"... that doesn't make me feel any better when this is my fifth rejection and I only have one school left.

The email was pretty standard. I was an attractive candidate, but due to the limited number of spots and COVID etc...
