I applied for PhD program and also checked 'yes' to be considered as Master's. I sent an email to the department and they didn't even read it. Am I waitlisted or already rejected but they were not interested in sending a reject letter?

Was in contact with a potential PI, no interviews, and then emailed rejection.

Waitlisted after interview

Rejected after interview

Had an interview in February. It was unpleasant for all parties, and I was left feeling like I did not want to attend this program. I am not surprised by this result.

SMArchS Architectural Design

Applied for hydrology (1st option) and environmental fluid mechanics (2nd option)

Have received a lot of rejections in various formats in the past two months, but the MIT one was the kindest with an e-mail from the Department Head. I wish other programs would not be so afraid of having direct contact and communication with their applicants rather than using the automated system for the entire Humanities pool of applications.

Received a direct email with a kind note, rather than a note to check the portal.

Reject from the transportation program.

Good luck to all! Will extend my Master for one more year, wish I can have a chance to be accepted!

Didn't really count on this

Emailed the graduate program director. She replied back that I will not be admitted. They are sending out all rejections within this week. I was in the structures, materials & geomechanics track. Formal email rejections will come any day now. All acceptances have been mailed in as far as I know.

Anyone still waiting for the result of SMarchS(Building Technology)? Haven't got any email from school and the status on portal is always the same.
