Accepted with no financial aids. They only admit 3-5% of applicants to enroll in their PhD. program. Cheers!

I had a terrible SOP, not surprised.

Got an email stating that they're in final stages of reviewing my application and will let me know by the end of the week. Might be the same for all who applied to this program.

Personal email from Professor. Applied for Finance, got accepted to Accounting which was my second choice. No funding, so I doubt I'll be going there.

They could have taken a little longer! Not my field, but tangentally related, as their program in my field is in complete collapse.

I posted on here that I called and they said I was rejected, but yesterday I received an email that said I was waitlisted. I feel better about not being the lone reject but apart of the waitlisted masses

Finally e-mailed the grad-director and found out that I am on a wait-list. Can't wait to get a straight result!

Rutgers status page says 'you have been recommended for admission.' Also shows 'MA' though I applied to the PhD program. Not sure what this means, emailed to find out.

Called to find out status and was told if I hadn't been notified yet I was on a wait list. They expect to notify people who are wait listed by April 15th.

Sent and email 2 weeks ago, recieved this reply today: Unfortunately you were not admitted into our Program. The official letter was sent out last week, you should receive it shortly.

I had to call and email to remind them to post that I had been rejected. And then not even notification that they had posted a nice and impersonal "DENIED" on the website. Not even a respectable "sorry but no." Thanks guys

In response to my email.

Email them and got the reply from graduate director. But he said the chance is small. Please tell them if you don't go such that I can get in and save my relationship. My girlfriend would dump me if I can not be there.
