Amazing contact with POI in the fall, excellent GPA, great references, and a Canadian MA. All this got me was a generic three sentence rejection letter and complete radio silence from the department this month. Probably the most unprofessional rejection I've ever received, so this is most likely for the better. | ||||

Like everyone else I received the email that said that the status had changed, checked spire, and it hadn't. called dept and they said I had not been admitted: "It had nothing to do with your application, we only had ten spots this year and we received hundreds of applications". Um, it had everything to do with my application, otherwise I would have been admitted. ;_: | ||||
