TTPB: I contacted a person named Carol J Glotzbach. She was the one who let me know my application's decision. I have not received a reject officially but she told me that my application was not reviewed highly, so that's an unofficial reject. Here is the email ID: [email protected]. Try contacting her through email at office hours ( U.S time) with your name and application ID. I got a reply within 15 to 20 minutes of sending my email. If you still don't get a response then you probably have to wait it out until your decision arrives officially. I hope this helps.

TTPB: They have already sent most of the admits early this year. All the pending decisions will come as mass rejects. They are portraying as if they are going through each application carefully, but in actual they aren't!

Don't know why they are taking so much time to just send a rejection. Are they taking applicants for granted??

TTPB: I also sent an email (just half an hour ago) to the grad office but got a generic reply that admission decisions are being sent out and they can not give an exact date when I will receive a decision. I submitted my application on 14th Dec. Don't know what they are doing for past 4 months.

"We regret that we cannot offer you a Ph.D. position as there are no more open positions. " Offered admission to their MSE programme but will decline as $85k in tuition is pricey.

Just checked the portal. They surely took a long time to make the decision. Surprisingly not feeling anything.

I contacted the graduate admission office to know when the decisions will be sent out. I got a response from them saying that the decisions are currently being sent out and that my application wasn't viewed very highly by them. For those of you who haven't received any information about your decision contact the graduate admission office to know more about your admission decision.

TTPB: I didn’t have any interview with poi and they said they were unable to offer funds at this time.

Shame. It was one of the schools I'm gunning for.

FFS I never even wanted to apply to this overrated sxxtty school! Well I'm not feeling that bad cos I already have an admit elsewhere and they screwed up the receipt of some documents. Live and let learn. Remember kids: apply to at least 10 schools. They sent an email to check the portal.

Not that surprised since the grad committee interviewed me in Jan and said they would inform the two potential PIs but they never interviewed me. Still took quite some time to tell me tho🤷‍♀️ just an email update with no change on applyweb

Generic Rejection email, but I was anticipating it since I haven't been reached by any of the faculty during the review period. For these schools you need to have a professor who wants to fund/take you, unless it is waste of time and money to apply. Better you contact your POI before you plan applying.
