We are offering you admission and funding with a stipend of $20,898 per year for your first two years in the program, along with tuition remission and subsidized medical insurance, which is our standard financial support package this year.

Email from the DGS. Great way to start my morning! 3a/0w/1r/1?

Second admit! No guaranteed funding, but eligible to apply for assistantships.

Is it true that UMD has only sent out acceptances to JQI fellows?

I think the fellowships are all for American students, so no international students have received admission yet, and I heard that they will give it out no later than Wednesday(today)

TA+Dean's fellowship

I believe that only JQI fellows are notified until this moment, which means that only some of condensed matter/atomic physics/quantum information applicants are notified.

a.Is there anyone received admission of Maryland in hep-ex? b.Are there some international applicants received admission form Maryland? Thx!!

Email from chair recommending for admission to MPH. No official notification yet.

To anyone who has a better offer of admission: please decline this program ASAP!

For those who are still waiting like me, I was told the Physics department would send all offers by this Wed. Best of luck!

80 applications received for 10 spots

Got emailed from the director of the school a few days ago. Financial package includes ra/ta job for the first year and then a larger stipend and job for the second. Also, credit remission for the first and second year which is very generous.

What does it mean when some people are hearing from UMD already but not others? Have they decided on who they want or will they send out more acceptances?
