Fiction applicant. Offered $5000/year merit scholarship. I'll be turning it down because I have a better offer elsewhere (and lots of pending applications). Hope this helps someone out!

Was notified by the wonderful Dorianne Laux that I was selected for a fully funded teaching assistantship. The great Eduardo Corral has also been a wonderful support. I look forward to working with the amazing staff at NC State.

First acceptance! Very relieved and excited

Extremely enthusiastic phone call from program director. Will email to set a time to talk longer next week. Indicated they would be offering me a merit scholarship but no details yet. Today was the exact date of the priority application deadline.

Honored and ecstatic!

Accepted for Poetry via phone from Kim Todd! 1a/0r/0w/12p

Fiction - phone call from Kim Todd!

Very nice email letting me know I was waitlisted, and that I could expect a follow up from the writing program to arrange an interview, so that I could have funding in case a spot opens up.

Just got the email, which came from Barbara McGlynn / was signed by Jeff Parker!!

Wow, VERY early phone call from the associate director -- deadline isn't until 3/1. She said they were so enthusiastic about my app they wanted to call right away. 2a/5 p.
