4 yrs research experience (1.5 yrs undergraduate, 2.5 yrs full-time); Strong LORs; 3 publications (2 co-author, 1 first-author in preparation); Several conference/poster presentations

I sent emails to ask if they would send out more invitations. They told me “ Unfortunately, the committee has met and all invitations for interviews have gone out. We appreciate your interest in our program and apologize for not being able to offer you a spot at interviews. We wish you the best of luck and hope you have a happy holiday season.”

2 years undergrad research at a decent uni, 2 years post bacc research at an ivy, 4 publications (2 first author; 3 are in prep), poster presentations and research awards, 3.9 undergrad gpa (overall and science)...I don't know what they want from me!

Had spoken to a faculty member before. Pretty excited about the interview, though I'll likely be giving it via Skype. 1 pub, 2 manuscripts in submission. Strong research experience which matched the interests of a few labs.

Invited with choice of 2 interview dates (1/22-25 or 2/5-8)!
