From the top 10 school in the US. Two research experiences, one paper, and three industrial internships.

Got rejected via the application portal, where they attach a "decision letter." Overall bad application experience, was difficult to contact the professor of my choice and get their attention despite my quite good qualifications.

Email from Lisa Servon. Guess it is Stuart Weitzman School of Design now... Figures crossed for DUSP..!

Second decision on the same day... sigh...[Mark]

Emailed Program Coordinator and got automatic message back saying the Dept was closed for a week AND: "Applicants for Fall 2019: We were able to make only a very few offers this year, so unfortunately, if you haven’t yet heard from us about admissions, we are not going to be able to extend an offer this year."

Denied from a fully funded PhD program and given the world's shittiest consolation prize. A 13K discount on getting an MEd in the same program. Oh Joy! Unsurprisingly I do not have 55k for a second masters.

Rejected from PhD which is upsetting. Really just trying to comprehend how as a POC who attended an HBCU I was rejected by a committee of white people (with a white woman as my POI) who decided I wouldn't be a good fit to study at the PhD level about MSI's. Oh well. Howard has a PhD program starting up. Maybe I'll apply there next year.

Reached out to grad coordinator after not receiving a decision update on ApplyWeb or via email. Apparently Prof Eng sent an email notifying me of my status on 2/22, but I never received it.

In touch with Professor, acceptance contingent whether they receive a specific grant.

Interviewed on Feb 26 and received the decision letter on March 1. Three PHD spaces this year.
