Expected since this was the first application I've ever submitted this year, and I was in a rush. Quite a good fit though.

A Cornell rejection party seems about to start.

I applied, not really thinking my interests aligned with the faculty's, so I'm not too surprised. Email says: "Over 135 students applied for only a small number of places, making it impossible for us to accept many people we would like to have as members of our incoming class. We are also unable to provide individual feedback on applications."

I assumed rejection once I heard others got invites to visit (and I didn't get an invite) , but I'm honestly glad to get the official notification. Onward!

Got an e-mail from POI today. The recruitment period was last week, and I wasn't among the 20 students who were invited.

Generic state school for undergrad, but then Peace Corps and an additional year abroad working at a nonprofit. Very excited!!

Did everybody else hear back for MEng in CS? My application still says 'in review' as of 1/23.

I am the OP TTPB on cornell admit. I am sorry, it was supposed to be princeton. I was excited and was thinking about cornell while submitting the form. Apologies

Has your status changed on ApplyWeb or you have received an official email from the department?

Most likely was rejected because of my lack of physics/CS background. I've been in contact with a neuro researcher there, and he said they needed to balance out the program this year. Pretty good GPA, neuroscience research experience while I've been in undergrad, and a paper in the works.
