Five years of research experience, 1 publication, and an REU at a top ten chemistry school. Received the official offer letter and fellowship notification in an email. Surprised to hear back this early!

>3.8 GPA in biochemistry from a top 10 public university. 8 semesters part-time + 2 summers full-time academic research, no pubs. 2 years as a research associate at a Bay Area biotech start-up. I was really interested in this program, very disappointing. Good luck to everyone else.
