The department is only admitting 3 funded students this Fall. This is my top choice. Dearest colleagues: if you plan on turning down an offer from Purdue, please do so in haste!

Same status update as below, portal rejection. Not looking too good for me lol 0a/3r/5p

Similar to below--got an email at 2am last night telling me to check, had already said Update Pending all day and continued to all day today until a few minutes ago 0.5a/0w/3.5r

To the person below: I got the same message for the "update pending" status change. It's driving me totally insane, I'm checking every 15 minutes to see if it changes. Why not just tell us if we're rejected???

Anyone else's status changed to Update Pending? I received an email telling me to check in the next couple days for an update. Something makes me pretty sure this is a rejection, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone else had gotten this.

0a/0w/15r//1p. I truly want to die

Receive email prompting me to check portal. No word on funding yet.

Really hoping this works out! I would love to study with Christiana Olfert

I am currently on two waitlists (for PhD programs), and UMass is my top choice. I've received too many rejections to count. If you plan on turning them down please do so asap. It would really help me out! Thanks.

This application cycle has been absolutely brutal. 0a/5r/1w/8

No e-mail, simply checked the portal after seeing posts on GradCafe. Previously sent a message to to solicit rejection, heard nothing. 1a/8r/3p.

Knew this was coming not top program material, I guess :)
