GPA 8.7/10, 2 manuscripts in submission (1st and 2nd author), 1 conference presentation, 2 years iGEM. Short and simple rejection email. MIT was always going to be hard being an international applicant.

7 Years of research experience, 5 Publications (1 first author)+2 under review, multiple conference presentations and research awards. I hope this goes to show that virtually no profile can guarantee admission among such a talented pool of candidates.

Received interviews for all schools except this one - my first choice. The battle continues, never give up.

6 years of research experience (4 part-time and 2 full-time), multiple presentation in congresses (international and national). Masters GPA 4.0

Waste of time. Waited all this time for nothing haha. Did they accept any MS students??

First got a call and an hour later got invitation email. Interview weekend is March 12-13. Had high GPA and GRE, and strong LoRs. Super excited about this!

To posters below: Does anyone know if all of the interview invitations have been sent? If I haven't been contacted yet, am I most likely rejected?
