Same as everyone. My first offer woo hoo!!! Also, the email mentioned something about being behind schedule. Good luck to those waiting!

CMT. Not a JQI fellow, but I'll take it. Unofficial acceptance.

CME, unofficial letter

Received an informal today acceptance today. International student AMO experiment. No JQI fellow. Email says UMD admission is behind schedule. So international student please be patient and good luck!

Applied with a focus on quantum information and AMO. Was hoping for JQI fellowship but it didn't work out. Still acceptances are always nice

Unofficial email, placed on "priority" wait list, "hope to make offers to some on the wait list". GPA is grad.

OK I'm one of the fellowship people and I received another not-quite-final acceptance email today. Basically they're a little behind this year, but the offers are coming out by the end of the week. Good luck to all!

"Priority Waitlist" for admission and funding: "We hope to be able to offer admission and funding to some applicants on the waitlist eventually."

POI was Dr. MacPherson. Been told by UMD that in the end she decided not to take any student this year

Had a Skype interview weeks ago :)

Placed on a "priority waitlist". "We hope to be able to offer admission and funding to some applicants on the waitlist eventually. We will be making decisions on an ongoing basis until April 15th, but hope to contact you before then."

In off the waitlist. W00t!

Full funding

For those saying they're only guaranteed funding for the first two years, read your email more carefully. It says they will definitely renew funding for the full five years if you make satisfactory progress. Their standard offer is for five years contingent on academic progress, which is normal.
