Canadian applicant. $5000 scholarship. Very excited! No word about TAship though, will we be hearing about this later? I was expecting to hear about it in the offer of admission because a lot of other applicants who were accepted into U of T masters programs seemed to be notified of their TAship in their offer of admission.

4a/0w/0r/0p. Canadian applicant, $28500 guaranteed for first year. ecstatic!!

Updated status on SGS - decision made, with a document attachment of a generic rejection letter

To the other persons who are still waiting for the result : You’re not alone. No email or changes in the online system. I am curious, do they accept international students? Congrats to those applicants who have offers!

To the poster below, CONGRATS BUD! I'm waiting for their response since ages! Its been my dream school since I was in senior high! Please tell me who emailed you about the waitlist? Do keep posting please :( Anyone else waiting? Please post here for contacting each other :(

I want to thank UofT for giving me a chance to be considered for acceptance (despite the possibility of it being relatively low). I wish the rest of the candidates the best of luck with their applications! Fingers crossed for those on the waitlist as personally, this is the only counselling program that I was eligible to apply for in Ontario (eg. I do not have a psychology degree).

Status on Acorn change to invited. Had strong references and 12 years experience - 3.46GPA

Waitlisted. But have already accepted an offer from another department at UofT. Now it seems like it was a good idea to apply for back up! I have an MA from a top European social science school and research experience in an international organization.

Canadian, Philosophy major at UBC, average grade 89 in philosophy courses, decent writing sample and letters of recommendation.

To the OISE poster below: thanks for sharing your profile, I also got an MA from the UK although I'm from somewhere else. Did you contact the POI before applying and publish any journal article? Hope you'll get a good news soon!

To the poster below: I received an e-mail 20:30 GMT (15:30 in Toronto) saying that SGS had updated. The decision letters had been uploaded for me to view. I'm from the UK with an MSc, finishing an MA in education. Also have a UK teaching qualification and have been teaching full-time for a couple of years. GPA possibly around 3.6/3.7 but unsure how the equivalency works. Good luck, hope you hear soon!

To the OISE Higher Education poster below, when did you get the email and if you don't mind, could you share your profile? Thanks. I still wait for any email from the department.

Waitlisted. If anyone has an offer from OISE that they're not going to accept, please could you let them know as soon as possible? This is my first - and only -choice of school!
