Pretty shocked and thrilled to receive my third acceptance!

Wish I could attend but too expensive.

Was fortunate enough to speak to the Director of CW , Donald Revell, on the phone, and, as it turns out, they aren't too positive that they'll be able to fund each applicant they've accepted even if, like the email I received, "they are confident" in a fully funded 3 years. Very hesitant to accept. Seems sketchy.

Dear Columba MFA Program: after careful considering your generous offer of life crushing debt, I decline.

Admission and graduate assistantship

Queried the director last week and received a kind rejection via email. Then today a rejection from the graduate school "I hope that you will be able to achieve your educational goals in some other manner."

I received an email to check the website.

I am already accepted at FIU in Miami so it's ok...typical form letter rejection that said to try again next year if still interested in the program. I still have 6 more schools to hear from...is it just me or are they taking their sweet time??

excellent program, expensive tuition, inadequate funding. just my luck.

Email to website. I actually did not fully complete this application so I was surprised to hear anything from them.

I'm bummed. Nice email. But still.

To those of you on the wait list for The New School, I've just cleared a spot for you on the list. I'm not going there, so there's hope for you. :)

One right after the other! Closure feels good, and yet...
