To the poster below: I'm in the same boat as you are (I also applied to Information, communication, and the social sciences). I've mostly given up on the Turing, but now getting nervous about the fact that I haven't heard anything about the interviews either. *fingers crossed*

Didn’t get my first choice of POI, but was told that they were impressed with my application to the point where other profs wanted to work with me.

It is the second time getting rejected by UW though different majors. Sigh, luckily I have another place to go.

16-month interpersonal program

Received an email that the website had been updated, checked and saw I had been accepted!

Received a generic email to check my application account; then received a generic rejection message in my account. I hold a bachelors and masters degree; GPAs 3.5 & 3.5. GRE: V: 166; Q: 154; AW: 5.0. I think I did not have a great deal of "fit" with any of the professors, though I was quite interested in the program.
