Shortlisted for an interview, received the mail of acceptance after a week.

@ UC-Berkeley poster: Were you accepted on 2/3 or 1/30? Which concentration? Were you interviewed and if so when?

I wonder how Harvard reviews applications. They sent all interview invites within a week of the application deadline. All other programs I have applied to in other universities took at least 4-6 weeks for review. I hope Harvard at least reads our applications. If our applications are not being given consideration, then no point in applying and wasting application fee.

Epidemiology track

TPB: I submitted my application around Thanksgiving, and also had an interview with my POI the week before Thanksgiving. I had heard previously that USC sends offers out in waves, but I would email the program advisor to be sure! Best of luck!

Two interviews finished. If anyone is willing to post- I'd be curious to hear if / when you hear back on the next round / virtual visitor day. I'll do the same if I hear.

Reached out to program via email and they replied to tell me everyone who was selected for interviews has been contacted. I expected as much, but still had not heard anything official.

I have collaborated with faculty in this department for 5 years through my work in healthcare. Even my recommenders, one of whom is a professor in the school of medicine, were offended by this rejection. But they were my safety school so w.e.

5 years of field experience, 5 publications, an MPH and a MS 1 formal interview and a follow-up call re: funding both in January.

Scheduled for two 25 minute interviews, one stretched to about 35 minutes.

Also somebody on the waitlist. TTPB, I can totally relate to you! Emory is def my top choice.

If you were accepted to the Nutrition and Health Sciences PhD program and aren't planning to go, please let them know as soon as possible :(
