More waiting. Accepted students who are choosing other schools, please decline quickly!

I had applied for the PhD program, was told I was underqualified (no masters), and asked if I wanted to be considered for their masters' programs. I was accepted into their ScM in Epidemiology program!

Unofficial rejection after e-mailing the grad coordinator. She said all admitted applicants had been notified and that there were "over 100 doctoral applications for not more than 6 slots across all disciplines".

Not surprised, and don't really care. Is this program even accredited?

YES!

Applied straight from Masters. "Lots of high quality candidates this year."

Hold prior advanced degree. Acceptance is pending funding offer which was not mentioned in acceptance letter.

Sent an e-mail to check the decision link! And then received an e-mail about admitted students day. Yay!

I was wondering what was taking them so long, but they notified me by mail and I live in Kenya!

I called UIC to check when I could expect to hear back of my status. They informed me I got accepted, just haven't received my letter yet. It took about a month to hear back, but is my first choice because it's a pretty good program.

Received e-mail that I was not accepted into my first department of choice. Application forwarded to my second department of choice.

Received an e-mail that a decision was made and instructed me to log into the website. Decision link was not available until the day after I received the e-mail!

Small program and not a great fit w/ faculty. Not surprised I wasn't at the very top of the list. Plus, was told they were only accepting 1 or 2 people.
