Was not going to initially apply but after meeting with 3 faculty members I was strongly encouraged to apply. What a waste of time. Fuck' em.

5th rejection. Slowly losing hope. Waiting on 3 other schools.

same as below. not that surprised—I've been rejected from pretty much everywhere else too.

Pretty standard email and expected result. "Please be aware that the applications for admission this year are particularly strong, and we have been unable to welcome all of our promising candidates for admission." Congratulations to everyone admitted!

I have publications, 2 masters, and years of research experience. I guess nobody was interested in my topic. Good luck to the other applicants and congrats to those who were accepted!

Standard rejection letter. "Only allowed to admit so many prospects and many applicants this year."

If you have been accepted and know already you won't go, please notify it! This is my top choice and I really want to have the opportunity to do my PhD here. Also, the person who was accepted already and talked with a faculty, what area of anthropology was it? Do you mind sharing the research interests?

Rejected, no email notification. I just happened to the check website. Very generic letter stating that I was denied.
