POI contacted me asking to meet and chat about their research and my interests.

TPB: It's true Rutgers has a high dropout rate. If you are a fellowship student, then pls note that fellows have a very good track record in terms of passing qualifying exams. Also, Rutgers is better ranked than UC River.

[Not WL] TPB. I have heard some pretty good references about UC-Riv, and I would rather live in California instead of New Brunswick. Also, from a close friend experience, Rutgers sacrifices 50% of each cohort on the prelims and then gives them the option of an MA, and that's it. If you feel UC-Riv will provide a more supportive environment, then it should be a no-brainer and just go to CA.

Anyone has ideas on how to choose between them? Thanks!

Accepted off the waitlist!! So excited!!

Anyone still holding an offer to Rutgers PsyD program and plans to perhaps release it? Just wondering if there is hope for the waitlist. Please comment if you can. Thank you so much!
