Please just fkkkkking let me in 😢😢 After careful review, I regret to inform you that the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is unable to take favorable action on your application to the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The number of promising applicants well exceeded the number of offers of admission we can make for the 2020-2021 academic year. I know that this decision comes as a disappointment. Unfortunately, enrollment of new students is limited to a small fraction of those who are qualified for admission. I want to assure you that your application received full consideration by faculty members in the program to which you applied. We appreciate your interest in the Graduate School and wish you success in your future studies.

Generic email to check portal. Area of Research: Bio-robotics Hard luck. All the best to everyone!

Yet another rejection.....

I don't really know since the email was personal but I would assume that they did. I'm also not aware of anyone else who got the same email or even applying to the same program. Anyway, we should hear the final decisions soon.

For the post below .. do they inform everyone they recommend ? If I didn't get an email it means rejected ?

I received an email yesterday from the department saying that it will be out in one week .. so probably sometime end of this week or beginning of next week

Thanks for your response to the person who emailed the department! Based on when you emailed them, does that mean next week or this week? thank you :)

for the post below, I didn't hear from them at all. I emailed the department and said that the graduate school will announce in a week.

Sad, got rejected from my top choice. But received an offer across the street at MIT, so will be accepting there. Good luck to whoever got in!

Received an email which mentioned status has been updated on the website

Sounds fair.

=3= the wait if over....

Enthusiastic email from the department saying my name was recommended to GSAS (no official letter yet)
