Rejected from doctoral program, but accepted in MAPSS

Short email notifying me of results. Had my name and the name of the program to which I applied in the email so one of the nicer rejection letters I have received.

Polite but short. 155 applicants, 10% interview rate and even fewer acceptances apparently.

To those with admits: please either accept or reject soon!

Strong Letters of Rec. One 1st author publication, field experience, 13 years as an educator. Had a great 4 hour interview with POI, Research Fellow, and two Ph.D. Candidates in December. Congrats those who were accepted, I'll try again next year.

Got an email from Dr. Ethridge saying that would begin reviewing apps this week, but a Professor hadn't sent his letter! (I emailed him and he sent it.) I figured others may like to know the timeline.

I got an email inviting me to check the status of my application on the admissions website. It was a very simple rejection. I have publications, a masters, and a lot of research experience. I think nobody was interested in my topic and I didn't request an interview with my POI prior to applying. Good luck to the others!

Has anyone got an acceptance (officially or unofficially) from biological/ecological anthropology? And when?
