Removed my name from wait-list to attend another institution. I hope this helps someone else! It's a wonderful program.

No word on funding, but yay!

For those noticing that McNeese is now offering less money, note that Louisiana is experiencing a massive budget crisis (1.6 billion), and the only thing that can be cut is education and health care. The universities are preparing for huge budget cuts.

Called grad department to inquire, spoke to a very nice woman. She said if you haven't been contacted by this point you're on the waitlist.

Whew. Expected and relieving. Now it is time to re-enter the land of the living.

Hopeful: this program is at the top of my list. If you've been accepted and do not plan on going, please inform them as soon as possible. Best of luck to those admitted and those waiting.

Ecstatic!

Fantastic news, even though it's just a waitlist. My first non-no of the app season just when I was about to give up. Not sure what funding is like, though.

Wait-listed... although I withdraw my application on March 16. So? Will be responding to Griswold to officially decline (again). Good luck to those waiting or accepting.

Letter sent out 2/27/15. Received it 3/8/15 in a cruelly thin envelope. A welcome surprise!!

off the waitlist

got in off the waitlist! so thrilled! email directly from the admissions chair, who i had been corresponding with previously.

I had pretty much written then off.

Zero for four...Better luck next time?

Recieved email about being wait listed, was encouraged to apply for low-res

Floodgates are open. Very nice email though, probably one of the best I've gotten so far, all things considered.

Kindly worded email.
