You have not been able to make it to the first round of Admits. You have been forwarded to second round and waitlisted. You will shortly hear from us. The above email was received.

I have emailed them but didn't get a reply....anyone with any news

After the long wait, a crushing blow

To all those waiting for Purdue. Let us hope that all our waiting will be over this week

Is anybody waiting for a Purdue Masters admit? My application status has been "Hold for Review" for the longest time. If anybody has any info on when final decisions will be made, pls post and help

Still Waiting for Purdue to reply. Its still showing "Holding for review". Has any1 got a reject for Masters in Mech ?

To the Purdue Master - ME poster below. Where you interviewed?

To the purdue poster on MEch PhD below. What about MAsters applicants? is there still hope?.

Expected one, but was tryin my luck

Oh. Thanks to the below three posters. Then it looks like grad school has not rejected us (without intimation). We have to wait a bit more. Thumb rule says "one should get the acceptance letter before three months of commencement of classes - so called a safe buffer time for Visa process''. Classes for Fall session start around August end.If we back iterate the last date of result declaration, looks like we have to wait till may end.

To all the Purdue - Mechanical applicants, requesting your support on the following query: I have submitted the application on the university website & posted the relevant hard-copies to the grad schools (December'15). In the apply-web dashboard, I have the updates stating "Application submitted" and "recommendation received". However no other updates are mentioned. Is there anyone who has more updates than mine in the dashboard. Please share, if any. Thanks in advance

Rejected by TAMU. Waiting for Purdue. However, I received an email from Engineering management dept about their MSE program.

This is ridiculous. I do not receive any announcement whether I was admitted or rejected until Apr 15. There is only person who answered my admission status inquiry e-mail. Although I would reject this university's offer if I was admitted into this program because I already accept another university's good offer.

I called to inquire about my status. Very nice conversation but sad news :'(

I will decline the offer!

3.92 Masters GPA in History, I don't mind the rejection because I received a fully funded offer from another program. My biggest issue with Purdue is extremely late notification. By the time I received notice I had accepted another offer because the other offer had a deadline of April 1.
