I had the offer sitting in the spam folder since Monday and hadn't seen it! No updates on the portal, since I was checking it daily. MA from Europe with good research credentials. Good luck to everyone and check your spam!

CP Focus, Congratulations to Everyone Accepted!

I'm still in shock. After rejections (or no responses) from programs, I cannot express the relief I feel at the moment. My offer is conditional with GSS funding. I have one last program I'm going to wait to hear from before accepting, but I'll likely end up here because of the funding included with my offer. I was beginning to take rejections personally after SOOO many. Also, I thought my application to this program was a bit of a flop so my self-esteem isn't hurt as badly anymore.

Very competitive school, very competitive year, and not the best fit. Disappointed but certainly not surprised. 2a/0w/6r/1p

I am truly sorry to inform you that we are not able to offer you admission to the Department of Political Science at MIT. We had a record number of applicants this year, far exceeding the number that can be accommodated, and we have had to refuse admission to some very well-qualified applicants. We appreciate your interest in MIT and wish you the very best with your future plans.

Makes sense, it wasn't the best fit. 1a/0w/5r/1p
