I am so excited! This is my top choice, but I'm waiting to hear back about funding. the other three programs have given me very competitive offers, so fingers crossed! 4a/1w/5r

Got accepted to the program, but unfortunately the program had their funding cut by 50%. Apparently only two people got a GSA position and I am not one of them. Pretty bummed out because I really wanted to go here, but maybe someone else will have a better shot. Thankful for being accepted here though!

So far no word on funding. I'm feeling a little concerned.

Just received my email! I sent a reply asking where I was on the waiting list. Haven't heard back yet. Congratulations to everyone accepted to WWU and elsewhere, and good luck to everyone. You've got this, wherever you end up in the fall. 1a/1w/3r/6p but based upon what I've seen here and on Facebook, probably 1a/1w/7r/2p.

Email that I was admitted to the graduate school, but no word from the department yet. Looking at previous years, this seems to be the norm?

They called me and were very nice and supportive on the phone. Since then they've called me back offering me a fair amount of funding. I'm pretty excited to go there. Formally accepted the offer already.

Call from Jonathan Johnson, said funding specs had yet to be decided but are forthcoming in the next two weeks. He was very friendly. SO EXCITED!

Emailed due to uncertainty in time difference between Osaka and Spokane. The email stated that they will "hopefully have a TAship for me" but this is pending a TA application.

Hi Draft!

We didn't discuss funding; official letter (and hopefully details) to follow.
