Master of Arts for the MHCBM Program. Got the interviee notification Jan 13, 2026 and interviewed Jan 23, 2026

First rejection I've gotten. Kind of disappointed but not surprised. Trying to stay positive and not go spiral while waiting for the other decisions.

No interview and any notifications after submission, get a dean's fellowship, I haven't contacted any professor before. Seems the results are more relied on committee. (I am from AI background and don't know if there are enough professors working on AI)

Redirected to LEAP. I applied for MS BME. Received a personal letter stating the committee was impressed with my application and valued my unique background (OD), but cited lack of foundational preparation for direct MS. Recommended me for Late Entry Accelerated Program bridge program instead.

I got accepted with the Dean's List Scholarship.

Informal mail asking if I am still interested and would like to meet over Zoom.

Standard rejection email. Wasn’t optimistic about this one, since my research interests did not align well w faculty. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ onto the next

first rejection of the cycle...

GPA is master’s. Unsurprised by this result. Multiple conferences and pubs but likely not the best fit/alignment in terms of research focus. Fingers crossed for better news elsewhere this cycle! 1r/5p

If you have an offer from somewhere else or are not interested in this program, please consider rejecting it. This is by far my top school and I would do anything for the chance to go. Thank you so much.
