No funding mentioned, and of course it will be difficult to find funding in the program because of my international status. Plus their avg graduation time is about 6 years. Certainly not worth it. I truly despise unfunded offers. I don't understand how programs expect someone to pay tuition for 5-6 years and live without a stipend.

I am ecstatic! PLEASE, please, p l e a s e, if you have been accepted and at any point decide you do not want to attend, please let them know as soon as possible. I am on my knees.

No funding mentioned, but I think program reputation and ranking are more important than funding. Will accept.

I just heard from a friend at UNC PhD that the program's funding situation is really bad, and too many PhD students are enrolled and some of them yet have any assistantships. Not just fundings but they are also very low on other budgets like travel expenses, lab desks etc. Thinking rejecting the offer now..
