Just got a reply, he stated that they will be "sending out their notifications by the end of this week". this makes me feel even more defeated..are these notifications of rejection ? :(

Hi, does anyone in here received the email from Ryerson saying that the documents aree already with the programs committee for evaluation? Did you guys received any response after this? Good luck for all.

I was accepted with a 3.7 GPA and a few years of semi-professional media projects in my portfolio

I know they usually send out acceptances in rounds! This was probably just the first round, and not everyone who got an acceptance will accept it so there will most likely be more openings.

I didn't receive anything either and frankly I started crying the minute I read that people had started hearing back. This program was my only hope. I just wish they'd send out rejections too because I sincerely do not feel like waiting for another two months for a no.

Acceptance sent via email. Indicated that formal offer will follow via Ryerson Portal.

Waited since December when I applied for MS Data Science, so finally, I decided to call to program director to know the status. He informed me that in next they are sending offers for the first batch. Hoping for the positive.

don't know if it's of any help but I applied to the MDM program at Ryerson (which I do think is really competitive as they only accept around 25ppl), and I have been checking the online portfolio I submitted, so to keep track of when somebody from Canada - ideally the admission committee - was looking at it. The analytics still show no user from Canada so my guess is they haven't looked at applications yet (or at least not the portfolios?). Hopefully they'll send out decisions soon :( btw the info session recording for the Professional Comm Masters is posted on their page ;)
