Saw some posts about this. Fyi some acceptances came in in Feb.

To the McMaster post below: Me too. I have not heard from Western Ontario. I saw several candidates already received offers from Western Ontario. However, for McMaster nothing this year. Good luck!

To the McMaster post below, I have not heard from McMaster nor Western Ontario either. I applied to McMaster last year and got the rejection letter on April 4th. So I think either I am waitlisted or already rejected again and just waiting for the final announcement.

anyone heard from sociology department this year?

To the poster below : Congrats to admits ! I assume that I am on the wait list. Please kindly consider declining if you have better offers. Many thanks !

Accepted via email with generous funding and guaranteed TAship.

I believe that they rejected me based on the interview. I was not my best at the interview.

Will be rejecting for UofT

Received admission email from chair. Waiting on mosaic and official letter to update.

I just received a rejection mail, however its not updated on Mosaic yet.

checked the email in the morning and got a rejected email in my email. The Chair sent the rejected letter before the information on the website was updated.

Got a Skype interview with one of the professors I listed. Generally talked about his general interests and mine.

Accepted today after a pretty crushing rejection last year. Offered $6000 graduate scholarship, TA position, as well as department and research scholarships. Total annual rate of minimum $27,000.

Graduate program director emailed me saying they would recommend the school of graduate studies to admit me.

Received the sweetest offer today via email. Includes funding (scholarship) and TA position.
