First Rejection of the season. International applicant with M.Sc. degree in CS, 3 publications, one award, one year teaching experience, 3 years research experience, good undergraduate grades, perfect M.Sc. grades, strong LoR, good SOP, 113 TOEFL (all > 26). Theory track.

First rejection - not exactly surprised

Masters from USA, GPS: 3.67. Two-year research experience.

Generic rejection mail, expected I guess. My first rejection (and response). All the best to everyone who got in!

2nd rejection Cornell after Princeton. Now awaiting, GeorgiaTech, Stanford, Berkely, UC SD, NCSU. Fingers crossed.

I think if I had applied earlier, I would've had a better shot!

Undergrad at Cornell, two years at research-oriented startup, research internship at CMU, three papers, two posters, strong LOR.

Has anyone in NLP been accepted? Haven't heard anything, guess I'm rejected?

From previous years experience, Cornell seems sent all offers at once so I agree with the post below. It's pretty safe to call a reject right now.

Bachelors in CS, 2 internships, 1 undergraduate research, 2 years of full time software engineering. I had one way interview on Dec 25th. Good luck everybody!
