Email to check portal -- standard rejection letter. Learning Sciences and Human Development. GPA is from Harvard GSE. Lots of research experience but no traditional classroom experience. Oh well. Good luck all!

Received an email from POI inviting me for interviews with them and another professor + their research groups' meetings + the Finalists weekend. Track: Learning Sciences and Human Development.

What I heard from my department is that they are going to let us know by the end of coming week. Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone!

Accepted w/additional Miramontes Scholarship

Applied on Jan 15th, emailed the department this morning requesting a status update, got emailed back 8 hours later with a notification that my portal status was updated, and got a rejection. It was pretty generic and stated that they had a high number of applicants to the program this year. Curious to know how many applied vs how many they accepted.

I was denied from the PhD program last night, they sent me an email this morning accepting me into the Masters program.

Got an email to check the portal. Good luck to all of those who were accepted.

Every grad school is a long-shot for me. I have ADHD, so my GRE is average at best. Worth noting that I'm too scared to even take the GRE. Anyway, UCB was my "safety school". Not necessarily shocked I got in, but definitely relieved I got in *SOMEWHERE*. UMD is my top choice. Very very very nervous for every other school I'm applying to. 1a/0r/~6p

Was contacted for an interview and later invited for the visitation weekend on the 22nd.
