Interview Friday Feb. 17

Call from POI :). Interviews occur on February 17!

Web-site states that all interview invitations have been extended. Interview date 2/11/11.

Letter was dated 2/5/2010

IN REPLY: No, no interview! The prof under whom I wanted to work contacted my boss (they work in a similar field) and asked about a missing rec letter in January.. but that was it until now! Sad!!

Placed on the waitlist and was told it was still early in the application cycle.

I interviewed February 27. Was told we would receive an update a week or two after the interview. They said that they sent offers for the first group and are waiting for them to respond. People will be put on waitlist and will see how many people will deny. Same for the second interview group.

Was contacted by PI over email.

Please please decline UNC if you have dominant offers. UNC is my top choice.

Just been notified that I was placed on the waitlist. Kindly request the current offer holders who don't plan to go to UNC Econ to decline it. wish everyone all the best in the application season!
