This year has 330 applicants, and only 5% of them were interviewed, aka 16 people, and I know they only admit 5 per year.

Kind email from the chair saying that the interview invitations have already sent out. They have heard back form all of the candidates that they interested in. Expected as after all not a good fit.

GPA is MA. Same as the previous notification.Initially was so hopeful last year, and now actually is a relief because I have better plans outside academia. IGNORE THE STATUS. I am wondering when they will finish up sending out interview invitations of if the invitation has been sent out already. According to previous years' data, I assume it should be the time, right?
