Got email at 1:22EST. No interviews, just emailed rejection. Have a masters and MD.

I interviewed with 2 professors, and the interviews went well. I was asked to submit a research proposal as well, but was ultimately rejected.

Had several first authored papers in Neurips, Coling and papers in EMNLP, ICCV etc

No interviews. The checklist disappeared the day before.

Notification appeared on portal. No interviews. Checklist disappeared with no SunetID on portal a few hours prior.

Not rejected officially yet, but I can see it - no SUNetID on the portal is a soft rejection. Ngl, it helps cope before seeing the actual rejection. Had a banger of an interview, but the interviewer felt another professor would be a much better fit, and he'd reach out to him for me. Never heard back afterwards, sadly In any case, we all have much more to be grateful for and prepare for in life; never let these decisions define you.

Portal changed, checklist gone, instruction to set up SUNet ID. Clicking through the link for registering SUNet ID, I see a new University ID distinct from application ID has been generated for me. Received call from POI about an hour after that change and my acceptance was announced to me.
